Currently Watching: Battlestar Galactica

So, Monday night I was introduced to the world of Battlestar Galactica . . . and all I can say is: how did I miss this show for so long?? It is absolutely, totally, and in all other ways, amazing!! I really can’t put into words how much I love it . . . and I’m only five episodes into the first season!

The show begins, for anyone who doesn’t know, with a four-hour (well, more 3 hour) miniseries. So, last night, my dad, brother, sister, and I all plopped down in the living room and proceeded to watch the miniseries . . . and the first two episodes. And I didn’t even notice the 4 ½ hours ticking by. It was that good.

We watched three more episodes tonight (er, last night), and I love it even more. The story is totally awesome, as is the action. I mean, the space-battles are just wicked. I totally love the sound the Vipers make right before they fire their guns. *grin* But really, what makes the show so great is all of the amazing character development. It’s quite incredible . . . The acting is brilliant, and the scores . . . Oh man, the scores are amazing. We actually bought all three scores last week, and I have been listening to them non-stop ever since. Hehe. Just fantastic.

I believe my sis is going to post a more detailed review over at her blog, so I’ll leave all the technical stuff to her genius. But I just wanted to post here and say . . . Battlestar Galactica is the best TV show I’ve ever seen… w00t!!

Also. I believe my hiatus is over now. Hooray! ^_^
